CHEAPaWAY EQUIPMENT HIRE REQUIREMENTS
a) "MINIMUM & MANDATORY" - A “PHYSICAL” (not digital) Drivers License (DL) and a Credit or Debit Card (CC/DC) are mandatory for the Equipment Rental Agreement for insurance reasons, both physical cards and the owners of those DL and CC/DC (or authorised signatory of a business or corporate card) must be physically present to sign the Equipment Rental Agreement at the booked Equipment Rental Pickup Appointment time agreed.
b) All Driver / Operators MUST be minimum 25yrs or over and under 75 years of age and have had more than 12mths driving experience in Australia on an Australian OPEN Drivers Licence and NO "P" plate drivers. Your licence or the licence of any Additional Driver or Operators hasn't been cancelled at all within the last 2 years?
c) The Hirer requires clear proof of QLD permanent residency.
d) The “DRIVER and or OPERATORS” as the “HIRER”, must initiate and finalise the booking themselves as the person driving or operating and picking up and returning the equipment, they must have their own personal phone number and mobile phone that is capable of sending and receiving SMS and MMS messages to complete our booking process that is done only by sms, and must be contactable during the whole Hire period?
e) The Hirer must be capable of READING and UNDERSTANDING the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS and their CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS at T&Cs link below, and agrees to obtain PPE before Hiring and wear as required, including ENCLOSED SHOES or BOOTS and be fully clothed at all times during the hire period, in our vehicles, at our yard, this includes helpers / workers? www.cheapaway.com.au/truck-terms-conditions
f) Hirer must be able to read and understand English and disseminate contractual information themselves. All learning, comprehension and reading difficulties must be declared at beginning of hire booking? Thankyou.
g) To Hire/Drive/Operate our Equipment you must have ZERO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS in your system or medical conditions that will impede your ability to always operate the equipment safely during the hire. h) By Acknowledgement of these conditions of hire, you agree that ALL HIRES ARE DONE STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and ALL timings give in sms are APPOINTMENT TIMES you must be capable of meeting, and that the "HIRER" is the only person authorised to pickup, operate, clean and return the equipment to the original hire pickup location!!!
i) Preferred pickup and return timings are between 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm daily. IMPORTANT - NOTE WELL! *** NO HIRED EQUIPMENT TRAILERS ARE TO BE TOWED ON GAZETTED UNSEALED ROADS INCLUDING DIRT AND GRAVEL ROADS OR TAKEN ON FERRIES! *** PICKUP and RETURN of ALL EXCAVATORS and Hired Equipment is at Harrisville 4307 25min from Yamanto (Ipswich) off Cunningham Hwy. [38 Queen Street Harrisville QLD 4307] *** ALL TRAILERS MUST REMAIN ON THE BITUMEN AT ALL TIMES, FAILURE TO DO SO CONSTITUTES A "MAJOR BREACH OF THE HIRE CONTRACT"! *** The Hirer must notify Us of ALL Damages, Accidents and or Maintenance Issues Immediately, or as soon as possible to the owner 24/7 on 0438382666. STOP THE EXCAVATOR OR TRAILER - DO NOT CONTINUE DRIVING THE EQUIPMENT unless written approval is given via sms - IF YOU CONTINUE DRIVING AND DAMAGE EQUIPMENT AND IT'S NOT FAIR WEAR THIS CONSTITUTES A MAJOR BREACH OF CONTRACT! *** Commercial Plant Equipment = 0.00 Alcohol / NO Drugs, Enclosed Shoes and PPE worn at all times, NO Children near or on Equipment, NO other non-contracted operators at any time.
